3/OCT BNOW & SCAD Community Garage Sale at NIST

PRLog (Press Release) – Sep 15, 2009 – BNOW (Bangkok Network of Women) will be holding a Garage Sale at NIST (New International School of Thailand, Sukhumvit Soi 15), MPH (Multi-Purpose Hall) on Saturday October 3rd, 2009 from 09.30am to 01.00 pm.

On average, the function attracts approximately 300 shoppers.  There are some really unique items and great bargains to be had including appliances, furniture, kids toys, clothing, books, sports equipment, and much more. Part of the proceeds of the event will be donated to SCAD, Thailand’s Soi Cats and Dog. For more information, please visit scadbangkok.org.

If you are interested to participate as a vendor, please contact Ramon (Oh) Ruengnaram at oh@bnow.org  or call 085 920 1863.  Table fee 1,200 baht for BNOW standard/premium members and 1,500 baht for non-members (prepayment for the table is required). Table bookings are done on a first come first served and must be made 10 days prior to the event date.

 

For those interested to buy quality second-hand merchandise, please arrive early.  Entrance fee is 50 baht.  There is a children’s play area and refreshments will be on sale.  Come along and make a morning of fun for the entire family!  A map to the school can be retrieved from the following link: http://www.nist.ac.th/default.aspx. For help on directions, please call the school Monday through Friday during school hours and prior to the event at 02 651-2065.  Please note per the school policy, all visitors are required to provide identification at the security entrance.
