Family Business Scoops Prestigious Prima Baby Fashion Award In London

Jellybabys an online business won the award for Best Small Independent Baby Retailer 2010, the award cermony was held at kettner's london w1, and was sponsored by comfort pure.

Set up by Dawn Pirrie in 2005, this online store has lots more to offer the reader than just baby gifts. You will find advice on bringing up babies, children's recipes, babies' names, health issues and a forum where parents can chat away. You can also play one of Jellybaby's audio bedtime stories for your children to fall asleep to.

Dawn Pirrie (owner) and partner David Somers attendend the award show and was shocked when they announched that jellybabys had won the best small independent baby retailer 2010 award, the awards was attendend by many larger companies, the likes of Mothercare, Next, Debenhams and Tescos.  The winners was selected by the readers of the prima baby magazine.

Dawn said she was shocked and very humble to collected such a great award in front of such great companies and was delighted that the public voted for her small business over the other Independent Baby Retailers in her catagory.

In the future dawn hopes this award is a good platform to grow the business and has plans to open a store in 2010 and maybe a small chain of stores over time.
