Sep 02, 2009 – Consignment Chic.com just announced the final two shopping tours of consignment shops for 2009. The Consignment Chic (http://consignmentchic.com) bus will tour some of the best consignment shops in Birmingham, Alabama on Saturday, September 12. Tracy True Dismukes, the founder of Consignment Chic, said, “On August 8 we had what we thought was our last bus tour of the year in Birmingham, and it completely sold out! Our customers were desperate to find out when the next Birmingham tour would be since they missed their chance in August so we simply had to schedule another one!”
The September bus tour of Birmingham consignment stores will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and the cost is $29 per person or $26 per person for groups of 4 or more. Lunch is included and will be catered by Ashley Mac’s (http://www.ashleymacs.com). The participating stores are Collage Designer Consignment in Homewood (http://shopcollage.com), Collage Designer Consignment and Collage Plus Sizes in Vestavia, Hannah Paige Children’s Wear in Irondale, Pretty Woman Consignment in Greystone, Renaissance Consignment in Greystone, and Second Hand Rose in Pelham. Each store will provide special discounts for the participants on the tour and will also serve refreshments. Christy Neaves, manager of Pretty Woman Consignment, said, “We are always so excited to be a part of the Consignment Chic Bus Tour! We really roll out the red carpet and give the customers royal treatment. They are treated like queens for a day.”
The ConsignmentChic.com Bus Tour will head out again on Saturday, October 10 to visit some of the finest consignment stores in Atlanta, Georgia. Dismukes said, “At the end of each of our previous bus tours, customers have been so excited that they want to know where we are going next!” She continued, “It was actually one of our customers who originally suggested going to Atlanta back in April. That trip was such a hit that we have been bombarded with requests to go to Atlanta again!”
The Atlanta bus tour departs Birmingham at 7:00 am and returns at 8:30 pm. The cost is $99 per person or $89 per person for groups of 4 or more that book together. The cost includes bagels and coffee for breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks on the bus, dinner and luxury transportation. We will be visiting the following stores: Alexis Suitcase in Sandy Springs, Back By Popular Demand in Lilburn, Designer Consigner Boutique in Alpharetta, Finders Keepers Fashion in Decatur, Finders Keepers Boutique in Decatur, and Southern Comforts in Alpharetta. Each of the Atlanta stores will also extend special discounts, food and surprises for all of the bus tour guests.
